Manual (optional equipment)
For your convenience, the outside rear-view mirrors are equipped with a remote control. They are adjusted using the control lever in the front lower part of the door glass.
Before driving, make sure you have a good view behind you on the left and right sides and directly behind the vehicle. When using outside rear-view mirrors, be sure to consider the following when estimating the distance from a vehicle coming from behind or to the side.
Caution: If the mirror cannot be adjusted because it is iced up, do not try to free it from ice using the adjustment lever or by pressing on the front of the mirror. Use an approved de-icing spray (no antifreeze cooling system) to release a frozen mechanism or place the vehicle in a heated room and wait for the ice to melt.
Electrically operated exterior mirrors
The exterior mirrors can be adjusted in either direction to give you the best view behind you on the left and right sides and directly behind the vehicle.
Both the right and left mirrors can be adjusted using the remote control exterior mirror switch.
To adjust the mirror position:
1. Move the selection lever to the right or left to activate the corresponding mirror adjustment mechanism,
2. After that, adjust the angle of the mirror by pressing the corresponding side of the switch button as shown in the figure.
Attention:
- Avoid pressing the switch too long.
- Scraping ice off the front of the mirror can cause scratches on the mirror.
- To remove ice, use a sponge, soft cloth, or an approved de-icer,
Warning: Be careful when judging the size and distance of any object visible in the passenger's side outside rearview mirror. This rearview mirror has a convex surface. Therefore, the objects reflected in it look smaller and more distant than they really are.
