For your convenience, the outside rearview mirrors are equipped with remote control. They are adjusted using the control lever at the front bottom of the door glass.

Before you start driving, make sure you have a clear view to the left and right of you and directly behind the vehicle. When using outside rearview mirrors, be sure to consider the following when judging the distance to a vehicle behind or to the side.

Caution: If the mirror cannot be adjusted due to ice, do not attempt to remove ice using the adjustment lever or by pressing on the face of the mirror. Use an approved de-icing spray (not coolant) to release the frozen mechanism or move the vehicle to a heated area and wait for the ice to melt.

The outside rearview mirrors can be adjusted in any direction to provide the best view behind you on the left and right sides and directly behind the vehicle.



The remote control exterior mirror switch can be used to adjust both the right and left mirrors.

To adjust the mirror position:

1. Move the selection lever to the right or left to activate the adjustment mechanism of the corresponding mirror,

Attention:
  • Avoid pressing the switch for too long.
  • Scraping ice from the front of the mirror may cause scratches on the mirror.
  • To remove ice, use a sponge, soft cloth or approved de-icer,


Warning: Be careful when judging the size and distance of any object visible in the passenger side outside rearview mirror. This rearview mirror has a convex surface. Therefore, objects reflected in it appear smaller and further away than they actually are.
