Sunblind
Your Hyundai vehicle is equipped with a sliding sunshade that you can manually adjust to allow light to pass through the closed sunroof.
Warning: Never adjust the sunshade while the vehicle is moving.
Opening and closing the sunroof
1 - "Open" ("Open")
2 - "Close" ("close")
The sunroof can only be operated when the ignition key is in the "ON" ("ON"). The sunroof will open fully when the button is pressed "OPEN" ("Open"), and in order to stop the sunroof in the desired position, you must press one of the buttons ("OPEN" ("Open"), "CLOSE" ("close"), "Up" ("Up"), "Down" ("Down")). To close the sunroof, press and hold the button "CLOSE" ("close"). Release the button when the sunroof reaches the desired position.
Warning:
- Do not close the sunroof if someone's arms, shoulders, or other body parts are between the sunroof cover and the edge of the sunroof, as this may result in injury.
- Do not stand or put your head or arms in the opening of the hatch.
Attention:
- Do not open the sunroof when the ambient temperature is very low or if it is covered with ice or snow.
- Periodically remove any dirt that accumulates on the sunroof rails.
Hatch tilt
1 - "Up" ("Up")
2 - "Down" ("Down")
The sunroof will be fully tilted when the button is pressed "Up" ("Up"), and in order to stop the sunroof in the desired position, you must press one of the buttons ("OPEN" ("Open"), "CLOSE" ("close"), "Up" ("Up"), "Down" ("Down")). To close the sunroof, press and hold the button "Down" ("Down"). Release the button when the sunroof reaches the desired position.
Note: After rain or car wash, remove any remaining water from the sunroof before opening the sunroof.
Manual sunroof
If the electric sunroof does not work:
1. Remove the cover located in the rear roof panel using a coin or a screwdriver.
2. Insert the hexagon socket wrench provided in the vehicle into the socket. This key is located in the trunk of the car or in the stowage (glove) box.
3. To open the hatch, turn the key counterclockwise, and to close it, turn it clockwise.
Sunroof power reset
After the battery is discharged, disconnected, if the sunroof was manually moved with a hex wrench, or if sunroof movement was interrupted by turning off the ignition, it may be necessary to reset the sunroof motor.
For this:
- 1. Turn off the ignition.
- 2. Simultaneously pressing the buttons "OPEN" ("Open") And "Up" ("Up") turn on the ignition.
- 3. After resetting the sunroof motor in this way, the sunroof will tilt up and down once to automatically reset all extreme positions.
Attention: If you do not reset the sunroof drive, it may not work properly.
