
To adjust the direction of the headlight beam depending on the number of passengers and the weight of the cargo carried by the vehicle, turn the headlight corrector switch.
The higher the headlight range control switch position number, the lower the headlight beam will be aimed. Always use the headlight range control switch to adjust the distance illuminated by the headlights (with the low beam on) so as not to blind oncoming drivers. Examples of correct headlight beam adjustment are listed below. Under vehicle loading conditions other than those listed below, set the switch to the position that most closely matches the descriptions in the table.
