To adjust the direction of the headlight beam depending on the number of passengers and the weight of the cargo carried by the car, turn the headlight range control switch.
The higher the position number of the headlight range control switch, the lower the headlight beam will be directed. Always use the headlight range control switch to adjust the distance illuminated by the headlights (when low beam is on) so as not to dazzle oncoming drivers. The following are examples of how to correctly adjust the headlight beam direction. Under vehicle loading conditions other than those listed below, set the switch to the position that most closely matches the descriptions in the table.
