The outside rearview mirrors can be adjusted in any direction to provide the best possible rear view. Both the right and left mirrors can be adjusted using the remote control outside rearview mirror switch.

To adjust the mirror position:
  • move the selection lever to the right or left to activate the adjustment mechanism of the corresponding mirror;

  • adjust the mirror angle by pressing the appropriate side of the switch button, as shown in Figure 1.86.

Caution: Avoid pressing the switch for too long.

Caution! Scraping ice from the front of the mirror may scratch it. Use a sponge, soft cloth or approved de-icer to remove ice.

Caution! Be careful when judging the size and distance of any object visible in the passenger side outside rearview mirror. This mirror has a convex surface, so objects reflected in it appear smaller and further away than they actually are.

Heated exterior rearview mirrors (optional)

When you press the rear window defroster switch, the outside rearview mirrors are also heated. To prevent them from fogging or icing, press the rear window defroster switch. The mirrors will be heated, which will provide a good view to the rear in any weather. To turn off the heater, press the rear window defroster switch again. The outside rearview mirror heater switches off automatically after 20 minutes.

Folding the outside rearview mirrors
