Removal and installation
1. Remove the trunk lid hinge mounting bolts and remove the trunk lid.
2. Remove the torsion bar using wrench 09861–22000 as shown in the figure.

3. Remove the trunk lid latch and trunk lid lock.
4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Adjustment
1. Adjust the position of the strike plate by moving it downwards or to the right or left side so that the rear of the trunk lid is level with the adjacent surfaces.
2. Adjust the trunk hinges by moving them downwards or to the right or left sides so that the front of the trunk lid is level with the adjacent surfaces.
3. Turn the trunk lid stops one way or the other to adjust the installation height of the trunk lid.
