Windscreen washer elements
1 - nozzle;
2 - tank;
3 - windshield washer motor.
The windshield washer line consists of a reservoir, a washer pump, pipes and nozzles.
When the control lever is pressed, voltage is supplied to the windshield washer motor and the corresponding electromagnetic valve (if any), which opens the supply of fluid to the corresponding washer.
If malfunctions occur, check the windshield washer elements for functionality individually. Replace the faulty element if necessary.
Filling the windshield washer
In warm weather, it is recommended to add a cleaning agent to the water, and in winter, use a special alcohol-based antifreeze or, as a last resort, regular vodka. The washer pump at the front of the engine compartment is also used for the rear window washer.
