Removal and installation the fuel tank (Hyundai Accent MC)

Removal

Note: The fuel tank removal procedure is described for the case with the fuel pump removed.

1. Raise the vehicle.

2. Remove the intermediate muffler.

3. Support the fuel tank with a hoist.

4. Unscrew the bracket screws (1) and remove the brake pipes.

5. Disconnect the filler neck (2), drain hose (3) and absorber hose (4).



6. Unscrew 2 screws and 2 nuts and remove the fuel tank. Tightening torque: 39-54 Nm.

Installation

7. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
