Engine oil pressure indicator light. Indicator health check mode: glow after the ignition is turned on until the engine starts. If the light stays on when the engine is running, this indicates low engine oil pressure. The engine must be stopped immediately, otherwise it may be seriously damaged. If the indicator lights up while driving, this indicates a serious malfunction of the lubrication system. It is necessary to stop the car, turn off the engine and check the engine oil level. If the level is low, add the required amount of oil and start the engine. If after that the indicator does not go out, immediately stop the engine and take measures to check and repair it. Running the engine without lubrication under load can lead to its jamming, sudden blocking of the drive wheels.
Coolant temperature indicator light (installed in instrument cluster type B). When the ignition key is turned to the ON position, this indicator shows the coolant temperature. The indicator glows RED when the temperature exceeds 123±3°C. The indicator glows BLUE at a temperature of 55±3°C. If the red coolant temperature indicator comes on, it indicates overheating, which can lead to engine damage. In this case, you should move off the road as soon as possible, stop the car and turn off the engine. After that, open the hood and check the presence of coolant and the condition of the auxiliary drive belt.
Digital indicator of AKKP gear engaged (option)
Airbag indicator light
Engine Malfunction Indicator Light MIL Indicator health check mode: 3-4 seconds glow after turning on the ignition (option). The indicator lights up when a malfunction is detected in one of the engine systems. If the indicator does not light up when the ignition key is turned, or lights up while driving, contact a service station as soon as possible to determine and correct the problem.
Light indicator for the presence of water in the fuel filter (diesel engine)
Glow plug indicator light (diesel engine)
Front passenger airbag deactivation indicator light (if installed). Indicator health check mode: 3-4-second glow after the ignition is turned on. If the airbag is deactivated or if a malfunction of the airbag switch is detected, the indicator lights up constantly when the ignition is on. When the airbag is on, the indicator does not light up.
Indicator light for parking brake/brake fluid level. The indicator signals the applied parking brake when the ignition is on. When the parking brake is released, the indicator goes out. Spontaneous glow of the indicator when the parking brake is off means a low level of brake fluid in the supply tank of the GHC. In this case, it is necessary to add the correct amount of brake fluid (DOT 4) If other faults are found, the vehicle should be towed. The car is equipped with a dual-circuit diagonal braking system. This means that if fluid leaks in one of the circuits, the brakes will still work on two wheels. If the brakes fail while driving, apply engine braking until the vehicle comes to a complete stop in a safe place.
Seat belt indicator light. The indicator starts flashing within 6 seconds after the key is turned from OFF to ON (for all countries except the EU). Seat belt indicator light and horn (EU only). The conditions for the operation of the indicator light and the sound signal of the seat belts are shown in the table
Seat Belt Status | Ignition key position | Reaction of the seat belt indicator |
Not fastened | ON | Flashes until the seat belt is fastened |
fastened | ON | Flashing for 6 seconds |
Not fastened | ON*1) | Flashes until the seat belt is fastened |
Fastened -> not fastened | START *2) | Flashes until the seat belt is fastened *3) |
1) When the ignition key is turned from OFF to ON for 1 minute
2) When the ignition key is released, the lock returns to the ON position
3) If the vehicle speed exceeds 9 km / h, then for 1-2 minutes an audible signal is given
Light indicator of open doors. The indicator lights up if one of the doors is not completely closed.
Light indicator of battery charge. The indicator lights up when the ignition is turned on and goes out after the engine is started. If the indicator remains on, this indicates a malfunction in the vehicle's electrical system. If the indicator comes on while driving, stop and turn off the engine. Check the condition of the alternator drive belt, its degree of tension.
High beam indicator light. The indicator lights up when the high beam is switched on or when the high beam signals are on.
Overdrive off indicator light (for models with automatic transmission)
Low fuel indicator light. The indicator lights up when the fuel level in the tank is low. It is necessary to replenish the fuel supply as soon as possible. Continuing to drive while the indicator light is on can result in failure of the ignition system, as well as damage to the catalytic converter.
Light indicator of the anti-theft system (immobilizer). The indicator lights up for a few seconds when the ignition is turned on. In this case, you can start the engine. After starting the engine, the indicator should turn off. If the indicator goes off before starting the engine, turn the ignition key to the LOCK position and start the engine again. If the indicator flashes for 5 seconds when the ignition key is turned to the ON position, this indicates a malfunction in the immobilizer system. Perform an emergency engine start (with the introduction of a digital code).
Luggage compartment lid open indicator light. The indicator lights up when the luggage compartment lid is not tightly closed.
Power steering indicator light (option).
ABS anti-lock braking system indicator light (if installed). Indicator health check mode: 3-4-second glow after the ignition is turned on. The indicator lights up for a few seconds after the ignition key is turned to the ON position. If the indicator does not go out, lights up while driving, or does not light up at all, this indicates a malfunction in the ABS system. The brake system will function, but without the help of ABS.
ESP indicator light (if installed). Indicator health check mode: 3-4-second glow after the ignition is turned on. If the indicator does not go out, this indicates a malfunction in the ESP system.
