Selector lever elements
1 – lock solenoid; 2 – selector lever position N switch; 3 – spring pin; 4 – spring pin; 5 – steel ball; 6 – ball support; 7 – spring; 8 – hairpin; 9 – selector lever; 10 – lever adjusting cam; 11 – selector lever rod; 12 – selector lever spring; 13 – bushing; 14 – bracket.
Examination
1. Check the mounting location of the retainer for wear.
2. Check the spring for damage and loss of elasticity.
3. Check the pin at the base of the lever for wear.
Assembly
1. Lubricate the sliding part of the sleeve.
Lubricant: SAE J310, NLGI No.2
2. Apply grease to the areas shown in the figure.
