Removal
1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the rear cross trim and trim from the left rear side of the trunk.
3. Unscrew the antenna mounting nut and remove the bolt.
Disconnect the antenna cable and the power supply wires to the antenna.
Installation
4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Checking the antenna
1. Disconnect the connector from the antenna.
2. Check if battery voltage is constantly supplied to contacts 1 and 3 of the connector.
3. Check if battery voltage is supplied to contacts 1 and 2 of the connector when the ignition and radio are turned on.
4. Using additional wires, apply battery voltage to contacts 3 and 2 and check if the antenna motor is working (the antenna should extend).
5. Check if the antenna motor works after disconnecting contact 2 from the battery (the antenna should move downwards).
