Removal and installation the retarder switch (Hyundai Tucson LM)

1. Move the interior lever and the manual control lever to the "N" position.

2. Remove the battery and battery tray.

3. Remove the air filter assembly.

4. Unscrew the nut (B).

5. Disconnect the retarder switch connector (A).



6. Unscrew the nut (C) and remove the manual control lever (A) with the washer (B).

Caution: When installing: Install the manual control lever and retarder switch with the clamping device, diameter 5mm, then tighten the retarder switch fixing bolts.

7. Loosen the two mounting bolts and remove the retarder switch (A).

Note: Tightening torque: 9.8 - 11.8 Nm.

8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
