Removal and installation
1. Remove the shift lever handle (A) in direction F, then remove the console upper cover (B).

2. Remove the center console.
3. Remove the retainer (A) and clamp (B), then remove the gear shift cable (C).

4. Disconnect the connector (A) of the sport mode switch.

5. Remove the four bolts (A) and remove the gear shift lever (B) assembly.
Note: Tightening torque: 8.8 - 13.7 Nm.

6. Loosen the nuts (B), remove the holder (A) and the control cable.
Note: Tightening torque: 7.8-11.8 Nm

7. Disconnect the cable from the bracket on the gearbox side.
8. Disconnect the shift cable in the passenger compartment.
9. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Note: Move the interior lever and manual control lever to the "N" position.
Checking the technical condition
1. Check the functionality of the mode selection cable and the absence of damage.
2. Check the anthers for damage.
3. Check the boots for wear, abrasion, sticking, restricted movement or damage.
4. Check the spring for loose tension and wear.
Adjusting the gear shift cable
1. Move the interior lever and the manual control lever to the "N" position.
2. Connect the mode selection cable to the gear shift lever installed in the passenger compartment.
3. To eliminate play, move the cable in direction "F".
4. Tighten the adjusting nut (A).
Note: Tightening torque: 7.8-11.8 Nm

5. Make sure that each position of the manual control lever corresponds to the position of the lever in the passenger compartment.
