Seat belt replacement (general information)
Attention. When installing the seat belt, take care not to damage the pretensioner.
1. First, remove the following components:
A. Front door anti-seize strip.
B. Rear door anti-seize pad.
2. Lift up the bottom cover (A) mounts (IN) and unscrew the bolt.
Note: Tightening torque: 39.2-53.9 Nm
3. Remove the lower part of the cladding (A) central rack.
4. Remove the cover.
5. Turn away a fixing bolt and remove the top part (A) center pillar covers.
6. Turn away a bolt and remove the top fastening (A).
Note: Tightening torque: 39.2 - 53.9 Nm.
7. Disconnect the pretensioner connector retainer, connector (IN) pretensioner, unscrew the fastening bolt and remove the pretensioner (A).
Note: Tightening torque: 39.2 - 53.9 Nm.
8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
Seat belt replacement (for Europe)
Attention. When installing the seat belt, take care not to damage the pretensioner.
1. First, remove the following components:
A. Front door anti-seize strip.
B. Rear door anti-seize strip
2. Remove the bottom mount (A) with a screwdriver or a special puller (IN).
3. Remove the lower part of the cladding (A) central rack.
4. Remove the cover.
5. Turn away a fixing bolt and remove the top part (A) center pillar covers.
6. Turn away a bolt and remove the top fastening (A).
Note: Tightening torque: 39.2 - 53.9 Nm.
7. Disconnect the pretensioner connector retainer, connector (IN) pretensioner, unscrew the fastening bolt and remove the pretensioner (A).
Note: Tightening torque: 39.2 - 53.9 Nm.
8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
Height adjuster replacement
1. First, remove the following components:
A. Front door anti-seize strip.
B. Rear door anti-seize pad.
C. Front seat belt lower anchor.
D. Front seat belt top anchor.
E. Lower part of B-pillar trim.
F. Upper B-pillar trim.
2. Turn away fixing bolts and remove a regulator of height (A).
Note: Tightening torque: 39.2 - 53.9 Nm.
3. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
Note: Replace damaged fasteners.
Adjust the height.
Replacing the front seat belt buckle
1. Remove the front seat.
2. Loosen the mounting bolt and remove the buckle (A) front seat belt.
Note: Tightening torque: 39.2 - 53.9 Nm.
3. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
