Replacing the seat belt (general information)



Caution: When installing the seat belt, be careful not to damage the pretensioner.


1. First remove the following components:

A. Front door anti-scuff strip.

B. Rear door anti-scuff plate.

2. Lift the lower cover (A) of the mount (B) and unscrew the bolt.

Note: Tightening torque: 39.2-53.9 Nm

3. Remove the lower part of the center pillar trim (A).

5. Loosen the mounting bolt and remove the upper part (A) of the center pillar trim.

Note: Tightening torque: 39.2 - 53.9 Nm.

7. Disconnect the pretensioner connector retainer, pretensioner connector (B), loosen the mounting bolt and remove the pretensioner (A).

Note: Tightening torque: 39.2 - 53.9 Nm.

8. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Seat Belt Replacement (for Europe)



Caution: When installing the seat belt, be careful not to damage the pretensioner.

1. First remove the following components:

A. Front door anti-scuff strip.

B. Rear door anti-scuff plate.

C. Lower front seat belt anchor.

D. Upper front seat belt anchorage.

E. The lower part of the center pillar trim.

F. The upper part of the center pillar trim.

2. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the height adjuster (A).

Note: Tightening torque: 39.2 - 53.9 Nm.


Note: Tightening torque: 39.2 - 53.9 Nm.


3. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Note: Replace damaged fasteners.


Adjust the height.

Replacing the front seat belt buckle



1. Remove the front seat.

2. Loosen the mounting bolt and remove the buckle (A) of the front seat belt.



Note: Tightening torque: 39.2 - 53.9 Nm.

3. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
