Intake and exhaust systems — installation (Hyundai Tucson JM)

1. Install the intake manifold with the gasket and tighten the mounting bolts in the order shown in the figure to a torque of 19 - 21 Nm.



2. Install the fuel rail assembly.

3. Install the resonator (A) and tighten the bolts to a torque of 15 - 20 Nm.



4. Connect all connectors and hoses.

5. Install the air filter hose.

6. Install the engine cover.

7. Install the exhaust manifold (A) with the gasket (B). Tighten the mounting bolts to a torque of 30 - 35 Nm.



8. Install the thermal insulation (A). Tightening torques for the thermal insulation bolts are 12 - 15 Nm.





9. Connect the oxygen sensor (lambda probe) connector.

10. Install the front exhaust pipe (A). Tighten the mounting bolts to a torque of 30 - 40 Nm.



11. Install the crankcase guard.
