Installing rear disc brake pads (Hyundai Tucson JM)

1. Install the springs (A) into the fastener (B).



2. Clean the sidewalls (A) and brake linings (B) from dirt and foreign objects.





3. With a special tool (09581-11000) move the piston inside the cylinder.

4. Install the brake pads with wear indicator and sidewalls. Return the caliper to its original position and tighten the guide rod bolts to 22-32 Nm.

Note: If necessary, apply rubber grease to the brake cylinder mirror during assembly.
