Checking the runout of the brake disc of the front disc brakes (Hyundai Tucson JM)

1. Loosen the guide bolt, turn the caliper upward and hang it with wire or other means.

2. Place a dial gauge 5mm from the outer edge of the brake disc and measure the runout by rotating the brake disc. It should be 0.03mm or less.



3. If the disc runout exceeds the permissible limit, replace the hub and brake disc.
