Checking the thickness of the brake disc
1. Remove all rust and dirt from the surface of the brake disc, and then measure the thickness of the disc in at least four places. The nominal thickness of the front brake discs is 26 mm, the maximum allowable thickness is 24 mm.
2. The change in thickness in different places of the disk should not exceed 0.005 mm (around the circumference) and 0.05 mm (along the radius).
3. If the wear of the disc exceeds the allowable limit, replace the disc complete with brake pads.
