Fuel tank, lines and connections
1. Check fuel supply lines and connections for damage or leaks.
2. Check the surface of the fuel hoses for damage caused by heat and mechanical stress. Hard and brittle rubber, cracks, nicks, tears, cuts, traces of abrasion and excessive swelling indicate deterioration of the rubber properties.
3. If the woven cover of the rubber hose shows signs of abrasion and cracking, the hoses must be replaced.
Fuel filter
The fuel filter must be replaced regularly as its effectiveness decreases over time due to contamination and water accumulation. Replacement should be made as necessary.
