The front suspension is independent, MacPherson type, with telescopic hydraulic shock absorber struts. Suspension of each wheel includes: suspension strut, wheel knuckle, lower control arm (or transverse side arm), ball joint and anti-roll bar.
The anti-roll bar is attached to the lower arm through the stabilizer links, and the middle part is connected to the body through rubber pads
The design of the suspension provides higher vehicle stability when braking on slippery roads. The MacPherson type suspension is easy to manufacture, since the tolerances in the manufacture of elements are quite large, it has less weight compared to other types of suspension, it takes up less space, this is very important when the engine is transversely located. At the same time, it has certain disadvantages: in the case of strong impacts, when driving on bad roads, the body cracks at the attachment points of the suspension. This reduces the driving stability of the vehicle.
