The front suspension is independent, MacPherson type, with telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers. The suspension of each wheel includes: shock absorber strut, wheel steering knuckle, lower arm (or transverse lateral arm), ball joint and anti-roll bar.
The anti-roll bar is attached to the lower arm via the stabilizer rods, and the middle part is connected to the body via rubber cushions
The suspension design provides greater vehicle stability when braking on slippery roads. The McPherson type suspension is easy to manufacture, since the tolerances in the manufacture of elements are quite large, it has less weight compared to other types of suspension, takes up less space, which is very important when the engine is transversely located. However, it has certain disadvantages: in case of strong impacts, when driving on bad roads, the body at the points where the suspension is attached cracks. This reduces the vehicle's directional stability.
