Checking the ignition coil (Hyundai Accent X3)

1. Measure the resistance between terminals 3 and 1 (coils located on cylinder side 1 and 2) of the ignition coil, and between terminals 3 and 2 (coils located on cylinder side 2 and 3).

• Nominal resistance value: — 0.5 ±0.05 kOhm

2. Measure the resistance of the secondary winding of the coil between the high-voltage terminal for cylinders 1 and 4 and between the high-voltage terminals for cylinders 2 and 3.

• Nominal resistance value is 12.1 ±1.8 kOhm

Note: When measuring the secondary winding resistance, disconnect the connector from the ignition coil.
