Before engaging reverse gear, after the car has come to a complete stop, set the gearshift lever to neutral for 3 seconds. Then engage reverse gear.
To avoid premature wear of the manual transmission, do not keep your hand on the gearshift lever while driving. Do not downshift if the engine speed exceeds 5000 rpm.
