Removal and installation
1. Turn away three bolts of fastening (A) cardan shaft (IN) to the torque converter.
Note: Tightening torque: 49.0-68.6 Nm
2. Using a screwdriver, disconnect the cardan shaft from the torque transmission clutch.
3. Disconnect the connector (A) electromagnetic clutch.
4. Turn away four fixing bolts (A) torque transmission clutches.
Note: Tightening torque: 58.8 - 63.7 Nm.
5. Using a screwdriver, disconnect the torque coupling from the rear differential housing.
6. Installation is made in an order, the return to removal.
Note:
When installing:
1. Lubricate the differential drive gear with GNY202 multipurpose grease or equivalent.
2. Apply special sealant B MS721-40 or LT5702 to the contact surface of the clutch and differential.
3. Clean surfaces of oil before applying sealant.
4. The place of application of the sealant is shown in the figure.
5. Do not install the torque coupling if 3 minutes or more has passed after applying the sealant. In this case, it is necessary to remove all traces of sealant and apply a new one.
