Powertrain assembly — installation (Hyundai Tucson LM)

1. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

2. Adjust the gear shift cable.

3. Fill with engine oil.

4. Fill the gearbox with fluid.

5. Clean the battery terminals and wire clamps with sandpaper, connect the wires and coat with grease to protect against corrosion.

6. Check for fuel leaks.

7. If the engine does not start immediately after assembling the fuel line, remove any trapped air and pressurize it by turning on the low pressure pump using the GDS.

8. Check the fuel line for leaks.

9. Fill the radiator with coolant.

10. Remove air from the cooling system.

11. Start the engine and let it warm up (until the radiator fan comes on 3-4 times).

12. Turn off the engine. Check the coolant level in the radiator; if necessary, add coolant. This will remove air from the cooling system.

13. Replace the radiator cap securely, start the engine again and check for leaks.
