Note.

*1 Check the engine oil level and check for leaks every 500 km or before a long trip.

*2 This scheduled maintenance is fuel quality dependent. It is only applicable when using approved fuel (EN590 or equivalent). If the diesel fuel quality does not meet the EN590 fuel specifications, it must be replaced in accordance with the severe service requirements.

*3 If the recommended oil is not available, change the engine oil and oil filter every 20,000 km or 12 months.

*4 If the recommended oil is not available, change the engine oil and oil filter every 15,000 km.

*5 The engine oil level should be checked regularly and maintained at the proper level. Operating with insufficient oil can damage the engine, and the cost of repairs for such damage will not be covered under the warranty.

*6 This maintenance schedule depends on the quality of the fuel used. It is only valid when quality fuel (EN590 or equivalent) is used. If the diesel fuel specifications do not meet the EN590 standard, change the filter more frequently. If serious problems occur, such as fuel blockage, vibration, loss of power, difficulty starting the engine, etc., replace the filter immediately regardless of the maintenance schedule. For more information, contact an authorized Hyundai dealer.

*7 The fuel filter is considered a maintenance-free component, but it is still recommended to check it periodically. The maintenance schedule depends on the quality of the fuel used. If serious problems occur (e.g., restricted fuel supply, uncontrolled sudden increase in supply, loss of power, difficulty starting the engine), replace the filter immediately regardless of the maintenance schedule and contact an authorized Hyundai dealer for more information.

*8 The oil in the manual transmission, transfer case and differential must be changed whenever the corresponding units have been under water for some time.

*9 Check and repair or replace if necessary. Inspect the drive belt tensioner, idler pulley and alternator pulley and repair or replace if necessary.

*10 When adding coolant, use only those cooling system additives that are suitable for your vehicle. Do not dilute the factory coolant with hard water. Improper preparation of the coolant mixture can lead to serious damage or engine failure.

*11 If there is excessive valve noise and/or engine vibration, check and adjust as necessary. This operation should be performed by an authorized Hyundai dealer.
