Opening the hood

1. Pull the hood release handle to release the hood lock. The hood should open slightly.

2. Go to the front of the vehicle, lift the hood, pull the hood lock lever (1) located in the central part of the hood, and lift the hood (2).

3. Pull out the support rod.
4. Place the hood on the support.
Caution: Hot parts. The hood stop should be grasped by the rubber coating on it. This coating will help prevent burns from contact with hot metal if the engine is hot.
Closing the hood

All filler caps in the engine compartment must be installed correctly.
Gloves, rags and any other flammable materials must be removed from the engine compartment.
2. Place the hood stop back into the clamps to prevent it from rattling.

3. Lower the hood to a height of approximately 30 cm from its closed position and release it. Make sure that the hood is locked.
Attention.
- Before closing the hood, make sure that all obstructions are removed from the opening. Closing the hood with an obstruction in the opening may result in injury to people or property.
- Do not leave gloves, rags or any other flammable materials in the engine compartment. This may cause them to ignite under the influence of high temperatures.
Attention.
- Before driving, make sure that the hood is tightly locked. Otherwise, the hood may open while driving, which will result in the driver losing all visibility, which may cause a traffic accident.
- When inspecting the engine compartment, the hood stop should always be fully inserted into the hole provided in the hood. This will prevent the hood from falling and causing injury.
- Avoid driving with the hood open, as this will limit visibility and may cause the hood to fall or become damaged.
