Checking the technical condition



Check the operation of the PTC sensor according to the verification logic procedure below.

1. Input method:

Set the FLOOR mode (air supply to the floor area) to maximum heating.

Turn off the fan.

Press the air intake button more than 5 times.

The key indicator flashes continuously at 0.5 s intervals (manual control).

The entire image on the LCD screen is continuously turned off and on at 0.5s intervals (automatic control).

Check the operation of the PTC sensor to ensure the fan switch operates.

Manual mode: points 1-4, automatic mode: points 1-8.

Each PTC relay is switched on at 3 s intervals.

The PTC sensor operation confirmation logic procedure is performed within 30 s.

2. Cancellation method:

Press the air conditioner power button or the air supply control button.

The ignition is off.

Automatic cancellation of execution of a logical procedure after 30 sec.

3. If the PTC sensor is not functioning, replace it with a known good one and check for proper functioning. If the fault is corrected, replace the sensor.
