Checking the technical condition
1. Turn off the ignition.
2. Disconnect the air supply control drive connector.
3. Make sure that when 12 V is applied to terminal 3 and ground is applied to terminal 4, the air supply mode control actuator moves to the heating position.
4. When changing the polarity, the air supply control drive should move to the ventilation position.
1., 2., 3. Heating mode
4. Ventilation mode
5. Sensor "mass"
6. Feedback signal
7.5V (Vcc)
5. Measure the voltage between terminals 5 and 6.
* Transmits information to the controls about the current position of the drive.
(Material was obtained from an official resource: «HYUNDAIBOOK.ru»)
6. If the measured voltage is not within the standard range, replace the air supply control drive with a known good one and check that the system is functioning correctly.
7. If the problem disappears, replace the temperature controller.
Replacement
1. Perform steps 1-7 in the "Replacing the Temperature Control Actuator" section of this chapter.
2. Disconnect the mode control drive connector (A).
3. Loosen the screws and remove the mode control drive (B).

4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
