1. Remove the accessory drive belt (A).

2. Remove the crankshaft pulley (A) and the lower cover (B) of the drive toothed belt:

3. Remove the upper timing belt cover (A) and engine bracket (B).

4. Align the mark (A) on the camshaft gear (C) with the mark (E) on the cylinder head (G) and the mark (B) on the crankshaft gear (D) with the mark (F) on the oil pump housing (H) by turning the crankshaft clockwise.

5. Install the rod (A) into the installation hole of the automatic tensioner (B) of the toothed drive belt.

6. Using the special key (A) (5 mm), loosen the lock bolt (B), then turn the automatic tensioner (C) clockwise while turning the bolt (D) with the key (E). Tighten the lock bolt.

7. Remove the drive toothed belt.
Note: If the timing belt is to be reused, the direction of belt rotation must be marked with chalk before removal.
