2. Loosen the mounting bolts (A, B) and remove the ladder frame.
3. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the connecting rod caps (A) with the liners (B).
4. If there is carbon deposits around the top of the cylinder, it must be removed with a scraper.
5. Remove the piston group from the cylinder block.
6. Remove the crankshaft (A) from the cylinder block. Be careful not to damage the bearings.
7. Loosen the bolts (B) securing the oil injectors, remove the injectors (A).
8. Remove the front and rear covers (A, B) of the balance shaft housing.

9. Remove the intermediate drive gear assembly (B).
10. Remove the balance shaft drive gear (A).
11. Remove the balance shaft gear plate (A).
12. Remove the drive balance shaft gear (A).
13. Remove the driven balance shaft gear (B).
14. Remove the balance shafts (A, B).
