Cylinder head — installation (Hyundai Tucson JM)

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Note: Always use a new cylinder head gasket.


The mating surface of the cylinder head and the cylinder block must be clean.

Turn the crankshaft and set the piston of the first cylinder to top dead center.

Tighten the cylinder head mounting bolts in two/three steps in the sequence shown in the figure. Tightening torque 50 Nm.
