Removal and installation wishbones (all-wheel drive) (Hyundai Tucson JM)

1. Remove the muffler (A).



2. Loosen the wishbone mounting bolts.



3. Disconnect the sensor plug (A) from the final drive.



4. Support the subframe (B) with a jack (A), then unscrew the bolts and nuts (C) securing the subframe.



5. Remove the propeller shaft.



6. Remove the final drive (A) from the subframe (B).



7. Loosen the bolts (A) securing the transverse arm brackets (B).



8. Remove the transverse arms.

9. Tighten the bolts securing the wishbone mounting bracket. Tightening torque 140-160 Nm.

10. Install the main gear on the subframe. Tightening torque 90-120 Nm.

11. Install the cardan shaft.

12. Support the subframe (B) with a jack (A), then tighten the mounting bolts (C). Tightening torque 100-120 Nm.



13. Connect the sensor plug.



14. Tighten the wishbone mounting bolts without tightening them. Then tighten the bolts with the vehicle on the ground. Tightening torque 140-160 Nm.
