Disconnect the wheel drive shaft from the gearbox (Fig. 3.32).

Using a flat-head screwdriver, remove the seal (Fig. 3.33).

Using a special tool (mandrel 09431-21200), install the new wheel drive shaft seal into the gearbox using light blows (Fig. 3.34).
Lubricate the working lip of the oil seal with transmission oil.
Recommended transmission oil: for hypoid gears (HP Gear Oil), GL-4 according to API classification, viscosity SAE75W-90.
