With the vehicle parked on a level, horizontal surface, remove the drain plug and drain the oil from the gearbox.

Replace the gasket with a new one and install the drain plug in place (Fig. 3.31).
Tightening torque of the drain plug: 30–35 N·m.
Unscrew the filler plug and fill with new oil to a level 5–9 mm below the lower edge of the filler hole (filler plug opening).
Gearbox filling capacity: 2.15 l.
Tightening torque of the filler plug: 30–35 Nm.
