Removal and installation wishbones (rear wheel drive) (Hyundai Tucson JM)

1. Loosen the bolts (A, B) securing the longitudinal and transverse arms.



2. Jack up the subframe (B), then unscrew the mounting bolts (A) and remove the subframe assembly.



3. Loosen the bolts (A) securing the brackets (B) of the transverse arms.



4. Remove the wishbones.

5. Tighten the bolts securing the transverse arm brackets. Tightening torque 160-180 Nm.

6. Make sure that the alignment mark (B) on the subframe (A) is facing the direction of vehicle travel.



7. Tighten the wishbone mounting bolts without tightening them. Then tighten the bolts with the vehicle on the ground. Tightening torque 16-180 Nm.
