To add oil while the compressor is running, first check the oil level as follows:

1) Fill the compressor with oil, stop the engine, drain the refrigerant and remove the compressor from the vehicle.

2) Drain the oil through the system drain nipple.

Note: Draining oil from a cold compressor is difficult. Before draining the oil, warm up the compressor to approximately 4-50°C.
