1. The fuse is located in the compressor clutch winding.

2. When the compressor slips (over 184°C), the fuse opens the circuit. The clutch bearing and drive belt are preserved. After the fuse burns out, the clutch winding fails, so the compressor stops working. Check the clutch resistance to check the condition of the fuse and replace the clutch winding if necessary.
