Verification conditions
Battery voltage is 12 V.
Procedure

1. Connect the voltmeter to the glow plug terminal and body.
The material was obtained from a web resource (HYUNDAIBOOK.ru)
2. Turn on the ignition and measure the voltage supplied to the spark plug.
3. Check that after the ignition is turned on, the indicator lamp in the instrument cluster lights for 6 seconds and a voltage of approximately 9 V is supplied to the glow plug for 36 seconds at a coolant temperature of 20°C.
Caution! The time it takes for the glow plugs to be energized varies depending on the coolant temperature
4. After checking step 3, turn the ignition key to the START position.
5. The system functions normally if the battery voltage (about 9 V) supplied to the glow plugs for 6 seconds during engine cranking with the starter at a coolant temperature of 20°C.
6. If the voltage or voltage supply time does not meet the requirements, check the voltage supply contact in the control unit and replace the damaged components.
