Verification conditions
The battery voltage is 12 V.
Order of execution
1. Connect a voltmeter to the contact and glow plug body.
2. Turn on the ignition and measure the voltage supplied to the spark plug.
3. Make sure that after switching on the ignition, the control lamp in the instrument cluster lights up for 6 seconds, and a voltage of about 9 V is supplied to the glow plug for 36 seconds at a coolant temperature of 20°C.
Attention! The voltage supply time to the glow plugs varies depending on the temperature of the coolant
4. After checking in point 3, turn the ignition key to the START position.
5. The system functions normally if the battery voltage (approx. 9 V) is supplied to the glow plugs for 6 seconds during the start of the engine by the starter at a coolant temperature of 20°C.
6. If the voltage or voltage supply time is not correct, check the voltage supply contact in the control box and replace the damaged elements.
