The tire pressure label is located on the B-pillar on the driver's side. This pressure is selected to provide maximum driving comfort, minimum tire tread wear and stability under normal driving conditions.
Tire pressure should be checked at least once a month. Correct tire pressure must be maintained for the following reasons:
- Low air pressure in tires leads to uneven tire tread wear and poor vehicle handling.
- High air pressure in tires increases the risk of wheel impact damage and causes uneven tire tread wear.
Attention:
- Be sure to follow these requirements:
- Check the pressure on cold tires, i.e. after the car has been parked for at least three hours or no more than 1.6 km after the start of movement.
- Whenever you check tire pressure, also check the spare tire pressure.
- Do not overload the vehicle. Especially beware of overloading with a roof rack.
