Removal



1. Remove the lower bolt, lift and move the caliper to the side. Secure the caliper in this position with wire or other method.

2. Remove the pads.

Warning. Do not press the brake pedal while removing the pads.


Examination



1. Check the linings for wear and tear, and also make sure that no oil has gotten on them. If necessary, replace the pads.

Warning. When replacing, replace all four pads on the right and left wheels. Never "break" the kit or "mix" old and new pads.

2. Check the pads for damage and deformation.

Installation



1. Install the pad clamps.

2. Install the covers.

Note: When installing the pads, make sure that the wear indicators are facing the disc and up.


3. Using a special tool (09581-11000) install the piston into the cylinder.

4. Install new pads.

Warning. Never apply grease to the disc or pads.




5. Install the bolt and tighten it to the specified torque.
