Warning: Be careful not to burn yourself, as the engine and oil in it may be hot.
1. Using a wrench, remove the oil filter.
2. Before installing the new oil filter on the engine, apply clean engine oil to the surface of the rubber gasket.
3. Hand tighten the oil filter as much as possible.
4. Let the engine run and check for oil leaks.
5. After stopping the engine, check the oil level and add oil if necessary.
