Checking the technical condition
1. Turn off the ignition.
2. Disconnect the exhaust gas temperature sensor No.1/No. 2 connector.
3. Measure the resistance between the sensor signal terminal and the sensor ground terminal.
4. Check that the resistance matches the specification.
Removal
1. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position and disconnect the negative (-) cable from the battery.
2. Disconnect the exhaust gas temperature sensor connector (A).
3. Remove the exhaust gas temperature sensor (B).
Installation
Attention.
- Tighten the component mounting bolts to the specified torque.
- Be careful not to drop the component. If dropped, the component must be carefully checked before installation.
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
Note: Tightening torque: Exhaust gas temperature sensor mounting: 39.2 - 49.1 Nm.
