Thermostat
Replace the thermostat with a new one if it opens at room temperature.
1. Immerse the thermostat in a container of water.

Note: Do not allow the thermometer to come into contact with the bottom of the tank.
2. Heat the water and check the temperature with a thermometer. Check the temperature at which the thermostat begins to open, as well as the temperature at which it opens completely.
Note: Nominal values: Start of opening: 82°C. Full opening: 95°C.
3. Measure the full opening height of the thermostat.
Note: Valve lift:
- Petrol engines: not less than 8 mm.
- Diesel engines: not less than 10 mm.
Water pump
1. Check all pump parts for cracks, damage or wear and replace the water pump assembly with a new one if necessary.
2. Check the bearings for damage, extraneous noise and beating and, if necessary, replace the water pump assembly with a new one.

3. Check the pump for leaks. If coolant leaks out of the hole, the seal is damaged. Replace the water pump assembly with a new one.
Note: A small amount of "dew" from the outlet is normal.
