Replacing the sunroof curtain (Hyundai Tucson LM)

Removal

1. Remove the glass.

2. Loosen the mounting screw, then remove the rail mechanism assembly (A).

Attention. Do not damage the screw.

3. To avoid injury, cut the tension cable (A).



4. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the rivet, then remove the curtain (A).

Attention. Do not damage the screw.

Installation

1. Install the curtain (A).

Note: Insert both ends of the fabric piece into the guide.

2. Insert the cable (A) in the direction shown.



3. Insert the cable (B) in the direction shown.

Note: When installing, insert the cable completely into the cover.

4. Tighten the cable (A) as shown in the figure below.



5. Remove the lock (B) and slowly lower the cable (A).
