- Test conditions: Battery voltage - 12 V.
1. Connect the voltmeter contacts between the glow plug body and the central contact.

2. Measure the circuit voltage with the ignition on.
3. The pre-heating system indicator lamp should be on for 6 seconds (starting phase), the glow plug supply voltage is within 9 V. After starting the engine, the glow plugs should operate for approximately 36 seconds (warm-up phase), the glow plug supply voltage is within 9 V.
Note: The continuous operating time of the glow plugs is determined by the coolant temperature value.
4. If the supply voltage values or glow plug operating time do not correspond to the requirements, check individual system elements.
5. Check the resistance between the connector and the body as shown in the figure. The normal resistance value is 0.25 Ohm.

6. Check the glow plug for damage.
