Tachometer
1. Connect the diagnostic tool.
2. Compare the scan tool readings with the tachometer readings.
Fuel flow meter
1. Disconnect the fuel flow sensor connector.
2. Connect test lamp (3-4 watts 12V) to pins 5 and 6, on the connector side.
3. Turn the ignition switch to position «Included». The lamp should glow, and the arrow of the flow meter should deviate.
Fuel level sensor
1. Using a multimeter, measure the resistance on pins 5 and 6 (A) in each of the extreme positions of the sensor.
2. Check the smoothness of resistance measurement when moving the float from 0 to «P».
3. If the resistance value is not correct, replace the level sensor assembly.
Engine temperature sensor
1. Disconnect the three-pin connector of the temperature sensor in the engine compartment.
2. Turn on the ignition. The temperature indicator should show «Cold». Switch off the ignition.
3. Connect test lamp (3.4 Watts 12V) to pin 2 and ground.
4. Turn on the ignition. The control lamp should light up and the temperature indicator should show "hot".
5. Check the resistance with an ohmmeter between terminals 2 and ground.
6. Check the compliance of the sensor resistance according to the table. If the resistance value is out of specification, replace the sensor.
Oil pressure sensor
1. Check the continuity of the circuit between the sensor contact and the motor housing. The circuit must be closed when the engine is running and open when the engine is not running.
2. If the conditions are not met, replace the sensor.
Brake fluid level indicator
1. Disconnect the brake fluid level sensor connector.
2. Check the continuity of the circuit between pins 1 and 2. When the rod is pressed, the sensor should close.
Brake Fluid Level Warning Light
1. Start the engine.
2. Remove the car from the parking brake.
3. Disconnect the brake fluid level sensor connector.
4. Connect pins 1 and 2 of the connector. The warning lamp should light up.
Parking brake position switch
The switch is under the handbrake (A). When the switch is pressed, its contacts open.
1. Check for continuity in the switch connectors. If the parking brake is activated, the circuit is closed; if it is deactivated, the circuit is open.
