Rear window — removal and installation (Hyundai Accent X3)

Removal

1. Disconnect the rear window heating wiring connector.

2. To remove the rear glass, first remove the following parts:

• 1) Rear pillar trim.
• 2) Seat belt bolt.
• 3) Rear butt lining.

3. Remove the rear glass.

Installation

1. To hold the seal during installation, glue the rubber gasket to the inside of the rear window along the entire edge as shown in the figure.



Distance A:

• 3.5 door models - 13 mm
• 4-door models 12 — mm

2. Install the rear window molding.

3. Preparation of glass for installation is the same as in the case of a windshield.

4. Fill the guilleu with glue, avoiding bubbles. Fill the grease gun (09861-31400) and, leading it along the edge of the glass, apply the maple as shown in the figure.

Note: Apply adhesive 5 minutes after applying glass primer.

5. Use a special tool to install the rear glass.

6. Install the rear pillar trim, seat belt bolts and connect the rear window defogger wiring connector.
