- coolant level
- windshield washer fluid level
- additional equipment drive belt condition
- condition of engine cooling system hoses
- air filter condition
- absence of liquid leaks (on or under various parts of the car)
- power steering fluid level
- battery status
Outside the car
It is necessary to perform a monthly check:
- general condition
- air filter condition
- condition of wheels and tightening of wheel nuts
- exhaust system conditions
- lighting conditions and operation
- windshield conditions
- windshield wiper blade condition
- condition of the paintwork and absence of body corrosion
- no fuel leaks
- conditions of door and hood locks
- condition and air pressure in tires (including spare tire)
Inside the car
Every time you are going to drive your car you should check:
- lighting work
- windshield wiper operation
- operation of the sound signal
- operation of the heater, heating system (and air conditioner, additional equipment)
- operation and condition of the steering
- operation and condition of rear view mirrors
- operation of direction indicators
- accelerator pedal operation
- operation of the braking system, including the parking brake
- operation of a manual transmission, including the clutch
- operation of the automatic transmission, including the parking brake mechanism
- operation and condition of the seat adjustment mechanism
- operation and condition of seat belts
- operation of sun visors
If any malfunction or abnormal operation is found, check thoroughly and contact an authorized Hyundai dealer for service if necessary.
