Central locking and alarm — general information (Hyundai Tucson JM)

0
The alarm system is automatically activated after the doors and hood are closed.

The system is triggered under any of these conditions:
  • One of the doors is open;
  • The door opens without using a transmitter;
  • The rear door opens without using a key;
  • The hood is open;
  • Operates without using the ignition switch.

When the system is active, the corresponding sounds are heard and the hazard warning lights flash. This continues until the system will not be unlocked.

To activate the system, the ignition switch must be turned off and the key removed. The alarm module receives signals that the doors, hood and trunk are closed.

The article is borrowed from an online resource hyundaibook

The system can be activated if the volume sensor sends a signal to the alarm control unit about the violation of the volume of the interior space of the car. In this case, the sensor can react to the ambient temperature, vibration from a passing car.

The alarm works only with its transmitter. This allows you to lock and unlock the car remotely. After pressing the LOCK button, all door locks are locked, UNLOCK - unlocked. If you do not open the door, after about 30 seconds the locks will automatically lock again and the alarm will be activated.
