Ambient air temperature sensor (Hyundai Tucson JM)

The air temperature sensor, located in front of the radiator, measures the ambient air temperature. Negative temperature coefficient thermistor; the resistance of the sensor increases with decreasing temperature. Signals from the sensor adjust the operation of all elements of the air conditioning and ventilation systems, as well as the heater.
