Gearbox Mode Shift Lever — Removal and Installation (Hyundai Tucson JM)

1. Remove the handle (A) of the mode switching lever.

2. Remove the center console cover (B), disconnect the plug (A) of the gearshift lever.

3. Disconnect the shift lever (B) assembly from the mounting bracket (A).

4. Disconnect the cable connected to the shift lever.

5. Disconnect the plug from the rear axle electronic control unit (all-wheel drive vehicles only).

6. Remove the bracket assembly.

7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
